Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are looking to connect with professionals who are passionate about providing crucial support to patients seeking access to prescription medications. Our team delivers a concierge-level experience, ensuring patients, physicians, and pharmacies receive the assistance necessary for seamless program participation and medication adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls regarding patient access, copay assistance programs, and reimbursement support.
- Communicate compassionately and clearly to patients, physicians, and pharmacies, focusing on delivering ease of use and program information.
- Refer escalated requests as needed and collaborate with additional internal departments to resolve issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting or claims processing as assigned, helping to streamline overall departmental operations.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED completed.
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume contact center, health care, or case management environment.
- Strong communication abilities, including clear verbal and written skills, with a focus on empathy and customer service.
- Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing (preferred but not mandatory).
