Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ

Job Summary: We are seeking individuals who excel in providing empathetic, customer-focused health care support to join our team. Our team is dedicated to ensuring patients receive seamless access to prescription medications through high-quality copay assistance programs and concierge-level service.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies to enable access to care for prescription medications and address reimbursement needs.
  • Deliver program information, eligibility support, and general guidance to ensure a smooth and supportive patient experience throughout the copay assistance process.
  • Utilize strong customer empathy and problem-solving capabilities to address inquiries, assist with claim processing, and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and handle occasional administrative tasks such as mail sorting and claims processing when required.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in health care or case management in a high-volume contact center or similar environment preferred.
  • Strong customer focus, empathy, effective communication skills (verbal and written), and active listening abilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing preferred; multilingual skills in English and Spanish considered a plus.
