Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ
Location: Hanover, New Jersey (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate team member dedicated to supporting patient healthcare access through concierge-level assistance. Our team ensures each patient receives timely program information, claim support, and the guidance needed to access crucial prescription medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding access to care and reimbursement for prescription medications.
  • Deliver program details, determine eligibility, and support copay assistance while focusing on a positive and empathetic patient experience.
  • Identify and escalate issues as appropriate, collaborating with internal partners such as Program Management, IT, and other contact center teams to reach solutions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as mail sorting and claims processing, and undertake other assignments to maintain seamless department operations.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED completed.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or case management within a high-volume contact center or comparable environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written language, accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Demonstrated empathy, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking abilities essential for resolving patient issues.
