Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver patient health care support and ensure access to critical prescription medication. Our team believes in providing a concierge-level experience, connecting compassion with expertise to drive positive outcomes for patients in need of copay assistance services.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding access to care and reimbursement needs.
- Deliver clear program information and address questions related to eligibility, claims, and medication adherence.
- Engage administrative support functions such as claims processing and mail sorting as needed.
- Refer escalation requests appropriately and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED completion required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a health care, case management, or high-volume contact center environment.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy and emotional intelligence, with a focus on patient service.
- Experience or knowledge in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing is preferred.
