Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional patient support services, ensuring seamless access to prescribed medications and health care assistance. Our team plays a vital role in delivering a high-touch, concierge experience for individuals requiring copay program assistance while maintaining superior customer empathy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-touch support by responding to inbound and outbound calls for patients, physicians, and pharmacies, assisting with access to care, claims, and reimbursement needs.
- Communicate program information, assess eligibility, and offer reimbursement guidance to ensure smooth and informed experiences for patients.
- Refer escalation requests and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues, supporting both program goals and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned, such as mail sorting and claims processing, to maintain effective operations.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in health care or case management within a high-volume contact center environment or similar setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities, strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Proven customer focus with high empathy and emotional intelligence, adaptability to changing situations, and strong problem-solving skills.
