Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and help provide critical patient healthcare services, ensuring seamless access to prescription medications. Our team is committed to delivering a high level of patient empathy and concierge-level support to help drive medication adherence and positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and pharmacies via inbound and outbound calls to address access to care and reimbursement needs.
- Deliver program information and general support, guiding patients through copay assistance programs and ensuring ease of use.
- Refer escalation requests appropriately and collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve patient issues.
- Support administrative tasks such as claims processing or mail sorting as required by leadership.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED completed.
- At least one year of experience in healthcare or case management within a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
- Demonstrated customer empathy, patient care focus, and experience handling sensitive situations with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, spelling, and detail.
