Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in facilitating patient access to prescription medications and healthcare support. Our team strives to deliver exceptional service through empathetic patient care, focusing on program information delivery and claims processing to enhance medication adherence and access.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding copay assistance programs.
- Provide program information, eligibility details, and reimbursement support while ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Escalate complex requests as needed and collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management and IT to resolve issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks including mail sorting and claims processing when required.
Required:
- Completed High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in health care or case management within a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
- Strong customer empathy, emotional intelligence, and a focus on delivering patient-centered service.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
