Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Pgh Late Shift
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly empathetic team member to provide direct support and healthcare access services to patients in need of prescription medication assistance. Our team focuses on creating a positive patient experience by managing support from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring compassionate and knowledgeable assistance throughout every interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls regarding patient access to care and reimbursement needs.
  • Deliver program information, eligibility determination, and reassurance to patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
  • Refer escalated requests to internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and Patient Support to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform additional assignments as needed to enhance the patient experience and support program goals.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or case management within a high-volume contact/contact center environment preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, or medical billing (preferred).
  • Strong customer empathy, soft skills, and effective communication abilities (verbal and written).
