Job Title: Planner
Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an organized professional to coordinate, schedule, and optimize facilities maintenance activities for a dynamic organization. Our team relies on effective planning and communication to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement within facilities management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and assign all maintenance activities utilizing the current CMMS system and standardized business processes.
- Manage asset maintenance parts ordering (MRO), create purchase requisitions, and optimize maintenance inventory based on labor availability.
- Track asset information, spare parts, and related documentation; maintain compliance to CMMS and business process standards through periodic data auditing.
- Produce weekly reports for facility managers, collaborate with operations to identify risks and gaps, and drive continuous improvement using maintenance metrics and data analysis.
Required:
- Five (5) years of experience in facilities, with proven expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling protocols for operations and maintenance.
- Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook) and working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment, along with strong organizational, prioritization, verbal, and written communication skills.
