Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Hybrid – 3x/ week)
Competitive Pay – $39/hr – $41/hr
Job Summary:
- Are you ready to contribute to cutting-edge drug product development and make a difference in patients’ lives? We’re seeking a highly motivated Process Development Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior staff to develop and characterize drug product technologies, execute experiments, and facilitate technology transfer for our innovative products.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior staff in developing and characterizing drug product technologies.
- Assist in process validation and technology transfer projects to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
- Execute characterization studies and experiments at both lab and production scales, generating valuable technical data.
- Liaise with drug product teams to ensure successful technology transfer and documentation.
- Establish experimental design and execute protocols with precision and accuracy.
- Analyze and document experimental results to provide actionable insights.
- Communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of freeze/thaw, formulation, filtration, filling, lyophilization, capping, and visual inspection processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in designing and executing characterization studies with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in drug product development.
- Understanding of Quality systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
