Job Title: Process Development Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a quick learner and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a fast-paced, highly matrixed laboratory environment. Our team’s focus is on supporting process development by delivering timely, high-quality analytical data that directly informs and enables critical project decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Execute analytical tests using approved methods and data integrity practices, including assays such as Size Exclusion Chromatography, Titer, Cation Exchange Chromatography, and Capillary Electrophoresis.
- Adhere to turnaround times, document and review results in electronic laboratory notebooks, and ensure compliance with required metrics for high throughput samples.
- Manage logistics tasks such as sample receiving, equipment maintenance, and monitoring the safety and compliance status of the laboratory.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to implement methods, analyze data, communicate updates, and assist with technical problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline or Associates degree and 2 years of relevant experience or high school diploma / GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience in industry, academic, or internship settings (hands-on experience with chromatographic and/or electrophoretic techniques is a bonus).
- Ability to follow written procedures, maintain accurate records, and work safely in a laboratory environment.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
