Job Title: Procurement Agent
Location: Rosemead, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team in a position focused on driving innovation within procurement and supplier management systems. Our team values collaborative problem-solving and strives to deliver the best purchasing performance through strategic sourcing and effective stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing purchasing and sourcing strategies to address both short-term and long-term material requirements, ensuring timely delivery, optimal quality, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in analysis to support risk resolution and gap identification within procurement processes.
- Engage in negotiation activities to achieve favorable commercial terms and conditions for purchase orders, requests for proposals, and related agreements.
- Support the training of peers and stakeholders on procurement processes while maintaining effective relationships with internal customers and critical suppliers.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or contract management.
- Experience using SAP software in a purchasing environment and proficiency with Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, and P2P modules is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, procurement contracts, and industry regulations, including utility standards and compliance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required, including experience with presentations, correspondence, contractual documents, and negotiation.
