Job Title: Procurement Agent
Location: Pomona, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to support operational procurement activities for direct materials. Our team values strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Commit the company by planning and authorizing purchase contracts, contract changes, and other procurement instruments with signatory authority.
- Lead procurement teams and manage the total procurement effort for assigned projects, including fact finding, price and cost analysis, source selection, and negotiations.
- Oversee on-site audits and supplier assessments, qualifying and developing suppliers as necessary.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure cost, quality, and schedule compliance, and take action to resolve issues as they arise.
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience applying principles of financial analysis, activity-based costing, and supply chain methodology.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Background check and badge access required for employment.
