Job Title: Procurement / Sourcing Specialist
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced specialist to drive accurate and timely processing of material requisitions while maintaining robust vendor relationships. Our team values operational excellence and relies on individuals who ensure streamlined procurement processes and high data accuracy to meet business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of material and service requisitions efficiently and in accordance with established procurement policies and approval requirements.
- Validate vendor pricing using contracts, price lists, catalogs, and historical purchasing data, leveraging past spend to drive cost-effective decisions and consistency in negotiated pricing.
- Create and issue purchase orders to approved vendors, track open orders, follow up on delivery schedules, and communicate status updates or changes clearly to internal customers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, support resolution of delivery or pricing discrepancies, and collaborate with supply chain stakeholders as needed.
Required:
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of transactional procurement activities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience with procurement and purchasing processes, including researching vendor pricing and using historical purchasing data for decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiarity with ERP, procurement, or supply chain systems.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; if no Bachelor’s degree, prior relevant job experience is required.
