Job Title: Product Development Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for a detail-driven product development professional to help bring complex footwear concepts from brief to manufacturable sample. Our team is looking for someone who can combine project management, cross-functional collaboration, and technical problem-solving to keep critical work moving and ensure product excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Drive product and process excellence by managing assigned projects from brief through commercialization readiness.
- Convert 2D design concepts into 3D samples while balancing design intent, performance goals, costing, profitability, and sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with engineering, testing, materials, design, merchandising, sourcing, operations, and overseas partners to keep development aligned and on schedule.
- Facilitate clear communication, drive consensus, and hold stakeholders accountable to critical dates and deliverables.
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience, ideally in performance footwear development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Engineering, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, or training with footwear experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of footwear pattern engineering, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings, sketches, and/or 3D digital files, with basic knowledge of materials, test methods, properties, and application.
- Proven experience in project management, problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing others, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
