Job Title: Project Controls Manager
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead a high-performing team responsible for project controls on a major advanced power generation initiative. Our team is dedicated to delivering accurate cost and schedule management, driving best practices, and supporting business objectives for large-scale engineering and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team handling complex and high-risk project controls operations, ensuring consistent project performance and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with project management leadership, actively participating in decision-making and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement and monitor project controls procedures and tools, providing transparent insight into project health and escalating issues appropriately.
- Support project review administration, address resulting actions, and provide staff with development opportunities and performance feedback.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in cost control or planning & scheduling; or 12+ years without a degree in these disciplines.
- Prior field experience with expertise in both cost and schedule management.
- Proven track record serving in a leadership role on medium- to large-sized EPC projects in home office and field environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement skills; with preference for PMI or AACE certification.
