Job Title: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, including siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout
- Manage project scope, schedule, and costs
- Implement project policies, procedures, and execution plans
- Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines on moderate-scope projects or a combination of smaller projects
- Ensure project deliverables meet client’s satisfaction and adhere to internal QA/QC guidelines
- Handle project communication, client coordination, strategic planning, scope management, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, environmental compliance, facility support, and schedule attainment
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience, including 3 or more years managing engineering projects in the Transmission & Distribution industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to devise new approaches to problems encountered
- Experience with the production of applicable engineering design and construction documents
- Proven success in project management including proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
