Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead complex initiatives focused on the commissioning and technical engineering support of building systems. Our team values leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive commissioning projects to successful completion while delivering high-quality client service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to established standards and budgets.
- Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders, throughout all project phases.
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive commissioning plans, test procedures, system manuals, and related technical documentation.
- Conduct field-based commissioning activities, perform technical assessments on-site, and ensure all project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines are met.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline preferred), Construction Management, or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in commissioning project management and engineering within the construction or engineering industry and at least 2 years of relevant mechanical or electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience.
- Expert knowledge of commissioning processes, procedures, and industry best practices (ASHRAE, CSA, LEED) along with direct experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, and related systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, documentation tools (Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam), and ability to travel up to 50% nationwide as required for projects.
