Job Title: Project Manager, Furniture
Location: Washington, District Of Columbia (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting a company seeking a Project Manager, Furniture to lead furniture project activities from planning through installation. This position plays a key role in coordinating stakeholders, managing documentation, and helping ensure furniture scope is delivered on budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead furniture project activities independently for projects up to 50,000 RSF and support larger efforts as needed.
- Coordinate with project management teams, architects, clients, furniture dealers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain furniture scopes of work, procurement packages, project plans, budgets, schedules, and open items logs.
- Support furniture installations, vendor selection, order entry, stakeholder meetings, and change management communication.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, interior design, or communications.
- 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar role, preferably within the corporate real estate industry such as an A/D firm or furniture dealership.
- Strong leadership, organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite, plus knowledge of furniture management best practices, industry standards, architectural drawings, and furniture/space planning concepts.
