Job Title: Project Manager (IT – Specialized)
Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a skilled professional to lead cloud transformation initiatives focused on delivering data and analytics solutions, productivity tools, and security governance. We are committed to building and executing foundational capabilities through collaboration across IT, business, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical projects from initiation to implementation, overseeing requirements gathering, vendor selection, proof of concept, testing, integration, go-live, and project close.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, coordinate shared resources, monitor budgets, assess dependencies, and manage project issues.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT, operations, vendors, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to leadership, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6-8 years managing multiple, complex IT projects, with experience leading cloud migration of on-premise data workloads to cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices, with demonstrated success in building and leading teams using internal and external resources.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience using MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
