Job Title: Project Manager (IT – Specialized)
Location: Houston, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager (IT – Specialized) to lead complex software and technology initiatives from planning through implementation. This role will drive coordination across business, IT, and vendor teams while supporting structured project delivery, issue resolution, and the development of a junior project coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, reporting, and closeout for software and technology projects using established project management methodology.
- Coordinate with Oracle application IT groups and vendors to drive decisions, resolve issues, and keep project activities aligned.
- Develop and maintain schedules, project action items, issue logs, key decision tracking, budgets, and resource coordination efforts.
- Support testing, training, go-live preparation, and mentoring of a junior project coordinator across business-facing deliverables.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing multiple, complex projects.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Houston and support a 100% in-office work arrangement.
