Job Title: Project Specialist 1
Location: Pomona, CA – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for our client's vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely invoice processing.
- Oversee invoice tracking and address any rejections, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead meetings with partners to ensure compliance with invoicing procedures.
- Analyze data from work management systems to identify trends and validate invoices.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency in vendor management.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices according to schedules and contracts.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in work management and financial systems like SAP or Ariba.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and handling multiple deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in vendor management and relationship building.
Desired Skills:
- Project or program management experience.
- Utility industry experience.
