Job Title: Project Specialist
Location: Pomona, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an advanced scheduling professional to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules specializing in Primavera P6. Our team collaborates with engineering, construction, and project management groups to drive complex utility transmission and substation programs while ensuring adherence to project controls standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules in Primavera P6 based on scope, engineering, and construction inputs.
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, forecasting, and time impact analysis (TIA).
- Prepare and present monthly schedule reports, including delay, risk, and recovery plans to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure schedule alignment, monitor baselines, and implement mitigation strategies.
Required:
- Advanced to expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, with a minimum of 7–8 years of hands-on scheduling experience managing complex programs.
- Strong expertise in critical path method (CPM), schedule logic and sequencing, time impact analysis, baseline management, and variance analysis.
- Proven experience developing and managing complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules for utility, substation, or transmission projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate schedule risks, delays, and mitigation actions to cross-functional teams and present schedule reports with clarity.
