Job Title: R&D Project Management Project Planner
Location: Remote

Job Summary: We are seeking a collaborative individual to support project planning and execution within a leading R&D organization. Our team relies on this role to ensure timely delivery of project goals and maintain accurate reporting across multiple cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and update day-to-day project plans in collaboration with Project Management Leads, working closely with Functional Matrix Teams to track activities and interdependencies.
  • Monitor and report progress, with a strong focus on critical path activities, and provide timely alerts to management for resolution of issues.
  • Create and maintain standard Gantt views for team review and support scenario planning ahead of meetings, occasionally presenting and advising in group settings.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the official corporate planning system (Planisware) to support downstream portfolio reporting and resource forecasting, acting as the scheduling ‘super user’ for the project management team.

Required:

  • Experience using Planisware for project planning purposes.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to work with planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, OneNote, or similar applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences, mathematics, engineering discipline, or equivalent is required; a Project Management certification can substitute if no degree is held.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially drug development processes, is preferred.
