Job Title: Research Associate
Location: South San Francisco, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We seek a high-energy professional to support general research production work in a newly established laboratory operating specialized automated platforms. Our team values individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support automated laboratory processes and instrumentation for daily operations.
- Prepare materials and samples for processing on automated platforms.
- Assist with troubleshooting and provide operational support for laboratory automation systems.
- Follow established lab procedures, participate in collaborative workflows, and maintain laboratory documentation.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- General laboratory experience, including daily use of PPE (lab coat, gloves, safety glasses) and support of scientific workflows.
- Strong ability to learn and operate specialized laboratory automation platforms, including troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitudes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven attention to detail.
