Job Title: RF Engineer I
Location: Melville, NY (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- Are you an experienced RF Engineer with a knack for small cell network designs and proposals? We’re looking for a dynamic professional to join our team and support our RF Engineering department. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with Mondays and Fridays as WFH, and Tuesdays to Thursdays in the local office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer DAS and small cell network solutions.
- Utilize sales process workflow systems for project implementation.
- Conduct field work, measurements, and data analysis.
- Optimize and commission DAS and small cell networks.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and support new technology trials.
- Collaborate with customer personnel on system design, performance, and optimization.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in EMS, Antenna theory, and MS Excel (mid to advanced level).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with small cell architecture and prediction tools.
- Knowledge of 2G,3G,4G wireless technologies.
- Ability to create link budgets, calculate noise figures, and calculate intermodulation products.
- Experience with RF and fiber testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Education/Certifications:
- BSEE required, MSEE preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of RF engineering experience or equivalent.
