Job Title: Right of Way Agent
Location: Lexington, South Carolina OR Alpharetta, Georgia (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Land & Rights of Way professional with 10+ years of experience supporting land acquisition, rights-of-way, permitting, easements, and real estate activities for pipeline construction and operational projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform land and rights-of-way acquisition and permitting for new construction and operational projects.
- Assist with developing preliminary pipeline routes, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Prepare reports related to easement rights, title updates, and landowner claims.
- Prepare and negotiate legal agreements related to real property.
- Identify and obtain permits from private, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Assess, negotiate, settle, and process landowner/property damage claims.
- Work independently with limited guidance from the Land Manager/Supervisor.
Must have:
- 10+ years of relevant land/ROW experience.
- Active North Carolina Broker or Broker-in-Charge (BIC) license issued by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
- Experience with land acquisition, rights-of-way, easements, and permitting.
- Experience supporting pipeline or similar infrastructure construction/operations projects.
- Experience with title updates, landowner claims, real-property agreements, and negotiations.
- Experience obtaining private, local, state, and federal permits.
- Experience handling damage claims and settlements.
