Job Title: Safety & Airworthiness Specialist
Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We empower our team members to lead Root Cause Corrective Action investigations supporting safety and regulatory compliance in commercial aviation. Our team is dedicated to enhancing product safety by enabling root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement for regulatory compliance issues across the aircraft lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structured investigations involving regulatory compliance issues, collaborating with engineering, management, and supplier teams to identify systemic root causes.
- Develop and facilitate containment actions and strategies to prevent recurrence of identified compliance problems, ensuring effective execution and monitoring.
- Coordinate investigation processes in alignment with company and regulatory expectations, working closely with certification experts and Organizational Designation Authorization personnel.
- Communicate complex technical issues clearly to varied audiences, including functional teams and executive leadership, supporting ongoing process and tool improvements.
Required:
- 10 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and relevant professional history.
- Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies or working in commercial airplane operations, certification, or safety procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to interact with senior management and external technical peers.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
