Job Title: SCCM Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting a global engineering environment that powers store technology across a large retail footprint. Our team is seeking a hands-on engineer to help design, automate, and support endpoint imaging, deployment, and hardware integration work that keeps critical store systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain enterprise Windows gold images, Sysprep processes, and operating system deployment solutions.
- Build automation using PowerShell and support software distribution, packaging, and deployment workflows.
- Automate driver, BIOS, firmware, operating system, and application lifecycle processes while troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Work directly with vendors and cross-functional engineering teams to validate hardware, support store technologies, and contribute to long-term platform strategy.
Required:
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience with the ability to work independently and manage complex projects from planning through delivery.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Client, and Windows Server Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in enterprise gold image design, Sysprep, Operating System Deployment, SCCM/MECM packaging, and software distribution.
- Strong working knowledge of core infrastructure and networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, hubs, switches, and routers.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience, plus proficiency with PC hardware architecture, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Experience working directly with vendors and cross-functional engineering teams, along with source control platforms such as GitHub.
