Position: Scientist – Cell Line Development
Pay Rate: $39/hr – $41/hr
Job Summary:
- As a Scientist specializing in Cell Line Development, you will play a pivotal role in designing and validating automated processes for manufacturing cell lines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will maintain meticulous documentation, analyze experimental data, and effectively communicate project updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and validate automated processes for manufacturing cell lines, including transfection, selection, subcloning, and screening.
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks to ensure accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to guide further research activities and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Generate comprehensive reports summarizing experimental findings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Implement innovative methods to enhance expression technologies and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Generate data to support publications, patent applications, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of research and development projects.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in cell biology, molecular biology, and biotechnology.
- Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, cell line development, and protein expression.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office and GraphPad Prism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive leadership mindset with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
