Job Title: Scientist
Location: South San Francisco, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Scientist. Our team is dedicated to driving innovation in assay development, particularly in cellular target engagement workflows. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting high-throughput screening and lead optimization efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize bioassays for routine execution, aiding hit characterization & assessment and mechanism-of-action studies.
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to facilitate assay development and evaluate therapeutic agents.
- Integrate automation solutions in assay development, MOA studies, and reporting processes.
- Implement workflows for cell line generation to enable the development of cell-based assays for screening and lead optimization.
Required:
- Doctorate degree OR Masters degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience.
- Strong foundation in quantitative biology, analytical reasoning, and high adaptability.
- Proficiency in transferring methods from literature and developing new protocols.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a lab setting, with proficiency in standard lab equipment and techniques.
