Job Title: Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading organization seeking a Scientist to support bioanalytical method development, validation, and implementation for large-molecule therapeutics. Our team is looking for a collaborative scientific professional who can contribute to robust assay execution, strong documentation, and thoughtful problem-solving in a regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments supporting the development, validation, and implementation of bioanalytical methods for large-molecule therapeutics, including oligonucleotides, in clinical and nonclinical samples.
- Support protocol optimization, troubleshooting, and assay improvement activities to strengthen method robustness, reliability, and transferability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support nonclinical and clinical bioanalytical needs across drug development programs.
- Manage bioanalytical study sample analysis and provide scientific guidance to junior analysts as needed.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific experience.
- 4+ years of laboratory experience.
- Experience in immunology, immunochemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, or related disciplines.
- Working knowledge of GxP regulations and bioanalytical requirements in drug development.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, multitask in a dynamic laboratory environment, and independently manage scientific responsibilities.
