Job Title: Scientist Senior
Location: South San Francisco, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Scientist Senior to support biomarker assay development and qualification within a clinical laboratory setting. Our team is looking for a candidate who can apply strong multiparametric flow cytometry expertise to advance clinical programs through careful experimentation, data analysis, and clear scientific communication.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and qualify biomarker assays using multiparametric flow cytometry in a biomarker laboratory.
- Plan, conduct, monitor, and document laboratory experiments while analyzing and interpreting results.
- Develop custom flow cytometry assays and support fit-for-purpose assay validation with CRO partners for clinical use.
- Perform clinical data quality checks and communicate findings and interpretations with colleagues.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or PhD, PharmD, or MD with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience.
- Experience with both conventional and spectral flow cytometry in a clinical biomarker setting.
- Strong background in multiparametric flow cytometry assays, including immunophenotyping, receptor occupancy, and immune-based functional assays.
- Experience with complex flow cytometry data analysis software such as FlowJo, FCS Express, OMIQ.AI, SPADE, viSNE, and CITRUS.
