Job Title: Security & Fire Protection Services Emergency Dispatcher B
Location: Mesa, Arizona (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking skilled professionals to support critical emergency and business communications within a 24/7 operational environment. Our team works collaboratively to enhance safety, security, and production for personnel and assets across multiple locations through reliable and effective incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and document emergency calls while simultaneously dispatching and monitoring fire and security radio channels in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide approved Pre-Arrival Instructions and make necessary notifications according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain excellent attendance and deliver empathetic, professional customer service during all client interactions, especially in crisis situations.
- Contribute to training efforts and support the formulation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of experience working in an Emergency Communications Center, Public Safety Answering Point, or a related emergency dispatch function within Security & Fire Protection or Emergency Medical Services.
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively in a crisis-oriented, collaborative team environment.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Completion of basic education (such as High School diploma/GED) and one or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and vocational/Associate experience.
