Job Summary:
Join our team as a Senior AMI Evaluation Engineer and lead the evaluation and testing of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) products and solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop comprehensive test plans, analyze data, and provide technical guidance to ensure the success of our projects. Top Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for AMI products
- Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams during product development
- Oversee field pilot testing and production device testing
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop detailed technical specifications
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports and present findings to stakeholders
Top Technical Skills:
- Expertise in AMI technologies and product testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards
- Experience with IoT, RF communications, and network protocols
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
- Experience in product development within Metering or Grid Modernization devices
Desired Skills/Attributes:
- Master’s Degree in a technical field
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and data management systems
