At the same time, you’ll apply and extend these patterns across our existing for marketing programs, strengthening the shared data foundation that powers multiple brand initiatives.

- Champion analytics engineering best practices – testing, documentation, code review, CI/CD for analytics code, and data governance standards.
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or data science in a fast paced environment.
- Music industry experience is required for this role

- You actively experiment with emerging AI tools and patterns (e.g., AI-assisted analysis, summarization, workflow automation), and you can translate new capabilities into reliable, scalable insights workflows.
- You have prior experience designing or supporting hybrid, human-in-the-loop data workflows, where stakeholder-managed inputs (e.g., spreadsheets or internal tools) feed automated, production-grade analytics pipelines.
- You’re highly proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, complex datasets.
- Youve built and maintained productionized data pipelines with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and are familiar with version control and code review workflows.
- You have experience with at least one major cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or similar).
- You’re comfortable building dashboards and data visualizations in Looker, Tableau, or a similar BI tool, with a focus on enabling self serve analytics for nontechnical stakeholders.
- You understand instrumentation and event logging well enough to partner with engineers and ensure tracking is sufficient for downstream analytics and measurement.
- You enjoy translating messy, real world business needs into clean, scalable data models and are comfortable making pragmatic tradeoffs.
- You’re an effective communicator who can work closely with marketing, partnerships, and product stakeholders, explaining technical decisions in clear, accessible language.
- A highly collaborative communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You enjoy real-time brainstorming and build trust quickly with creative, marketing, and partner-facing, non-technical stakeholders.
