Job Title: Senior Buyer
Location: Kent, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Buyer to support procurement activities across construction and facilities projects, with a strong focus on strategic supplier management, contract execution, and cost and price analysis. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional who can help drive procurement performance, support project needs, and ensure awards and purchasing actions align with established processes and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day procurement activities for construction and facilities projects, including supplier and contractor selection.
- Develop and manage RFP/RFQ packages, evaluate responses, and help award business that aligns with company objectives.
- Prepare purchase orders and change orders using Costpoint and/or Coupa, and maintain accurate supplier documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve purchasing and delivery issues, and support backlog tracking, reporting, and schedule risk mitigation.
- Understanding avionics systems and components, including software and hardware (EEE components, PCBs, PCBAs, LRUs, antennas, batteries, sensors, ordnance, harnesses, instrumentation, secondary structures, engineering & testing services).
Required:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of tactical-level experience in purchasing or supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cost and price analysis and above-average knowledge of cost-type contracting.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Windows programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience with Costpoint and/or Coupa purchasing systems is required.
- Facilities, construction, aerospace, avionics systems purchasing experience
