Job Title: Senior Buyer
Location: Bethel, Connecticut (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented procurement professional to support material planning, purchasing, and repair flow for a busy repair station environment. This opportunity offers a key role in aligning supply, schedule, and operational priorities to help ensure timely execution and strong turnaround performance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and procure materials needed to support repair execution while helping reduce excess inventory, obsolescence, and material aging.
- Manage purchase orders for repair parts and outside processing, including follow-up with suppliers to support on-time delivery and timely inspection release.
- Coordinate material transactions, allocations, and expedites to help support repair schedules, priority work, and committed turnaround times.
- Track planning metrics and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Support to resolve material, capacity, and process constraints.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of professional supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) experience is preferred.
- Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts as well as inventory systems experience.
