Job Title: Senior Content Accountant
Location: Los Angeles, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Content Accountant. Our team is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of content commitments, assets, liabilities, and expenses, playing a crucial role in the company's content expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly accounting entries, reconciliations, CFO metrics, and other ad hoc analyses.
- Manage and account for content license contracts, ensuring appropriate accounting by researching guidance.
- Analyze content agreements and transactions to interpret contractual terms and understand accounting policy applications.
- Identify and drive process improvements, managing cross-functional relationships with finance and content acquisition teams.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, backed by a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis, with a love for Excel pivot tables and large data sets.
- Enthusiasm for designing and building new accounting systems and making improvements to existing systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate inclusively across different teams.
