Job Title: Senior Cost Manager
Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for an experienced cost and project controls professional to join a fast-paced team delivering estimating and cost management services across a range of projects. Our client is looking for someone who can produce accurate estimates, support budget control, and work confidently with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction documents.
- Support budget tracking, cost control reporting, and change order evaluation.
- Review project scope, identify gaps, and help ensure all costs are captured accurately.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide status updates, value engineering input, and bid analysis.
Required:
- 5 to 10 years of experience as an Estimator, Cost Manager, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and planning concepts.
- Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to clients and internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and through ambiguity.
