Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to help shape the data strategy for a major enterprise IT initiative. Our team collaborates closely with key stakeholders to design and implement robust, scalable solutions that drive business value and support continuous improvement across complex data environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data solutions, including migration and extraction processes from legacy systems.
- Lead system design reviews and collaborate on pre-deployment activities for data engineering projects.
- Create database deliverables that ensure quality, traceability, and compliance with governance standards.
- Drive continuous process improvements and participate in assessments to enhance data management maturity.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in database development with platforms such as Snowflake, SQLServer, or Oracle.
- Proven background in data mapping, modeling, and defining data models with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within dynamic work environments and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading or influencing teams for effective project delivery.
