Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced equipment engineer to provide essential support for manufacturing operations in a dynamic pilot plant environment. Our team values technical expertise, strong collaboration, and a relentless drive to ensure the reliability and performance of critical bioprocess equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering support for bioprocess equipment, focusing on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing reliability improvements.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, and Process Development teams to address equipment needs, ensure effective communication, and drive system improvements.
- Leverage data-driven decision-making and digital tools to enhance preventive maintenance, asset management, and overall efficiency.
- Coordinate small scope engineering projects, support equipment integration, and provide onsite technical guidance for day-to-day operations.
Required:
- Educational background: Doctorate degree, or master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, or associate degree with 8 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and clearly explain findings and solutions.
- Experience managing equipment reliability, owning preventive maintenance activities, and utilizing data for decisions (experience with Maximo or similar CMMS required).
- Demonstrated cross-functional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and support teams.
