Job Title: Senior Engineer V
Location: Pomona, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to provide technical leadership in the design and analysis of transmission and distribution systems. Our team relies on this role to ensure accuracy, compliance, and innovative solutions for complex structural challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the detailed engineering design, structural analysis, and modeling of transmission and distribution lines using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson.
- Drive the design and review of pole and foundation systems, overseeing technical deliverables and ensuring adherence to all QA/QC, safety standards, and applicable codes.
- Support construction and field operations by resolving on-site engineering issues, conducting site visits or inspections, and assisting in emergency restoration responses.
- Mentor junior engineers and work with internal stakeholders to maintain and refine engineering standards, design criteria, and technical best practices.
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Active California Civil PE License.
- Minimum of seven years’ technical experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering design.
- Proven engineering experience with electric utility distribution and transmission systems, with demonstrated expertise in California GO95, NESC, and ASCE codes and guidelines.
