Job Title: Senior Engineering Technician
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineering Technician to support the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for complex infrastructure projects. We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity where technical expertise, collaboration, and quality-focused design work come together on impactful site development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using advanced design tools and established procedures.
- Establish design and graphic standards, review project requirements, and ensure deliverables align with applicable codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance, consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians and support personnel.
- Perform design calculations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, documentation, and quality reviews of deliverables produced by others.
Required:
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is required.
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 11 years of related work experience is required.
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation is required.
