Job Title: Senior HVAC Technician
Location: Holdrege, Nebraska (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting the search for a skilled Senior HVAC Technician to help maintain and improve critical building systems across a commercial environment. Our team is seeking a professional who can troubleshoot, repair, and support HVAC and refrigeration equipment while contributing to reliable daily operations and strong service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, cooling towers, pumps, and building automation systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections and testing to help ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety and regulatory standards.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools, technical documentation, and building management system interfaces.
- Respond to emergency service calls, document service activities, and communicate updates to facility managers and clients.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Valid EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel between multiple client sites as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
