Job Title: Senior Internal Communications Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a communications leader who will drive the development and execution of a comprehensive scientific communications plan supporting a global medical strategy. Our team values strategic insight, collaboration, and the ability to shape high-quality, compliant communications across global cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of global scientific publications and integrated medical congress activities by coordinating internal and external stakeholders and managing publication teams.
- Oversee the generation and approval of scientific content, including slide decks, digital assets, and medical materials aimed at internal and external audiences.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with company standards and industry guidelines for publication and communications projects.
- Provide strategic thinking to develop and implement innovative, compliant communication strategies, ensuring timely project execution within budget.
Required:
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD preferred) or master’s in a biomedical discipline with significant demonstrated experience in publication management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience (with doctoral degree) or 7 years (with master’s degree) within the biopharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, or a similar matrixed environment.
- Proven expertise in scientific communications strategy, planning, and execution, including publications or medical communications.
- Deep knowledge of publication planning processes, industry standards (GPP, ICMJE, CONSORT, PRISMA), and familiarity with publication management systems.
