Job Title: Senior Internal Communications Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in driving strategic medical communications at a global level. Our team collaborates across functions to develop and deliver high-impact communication plans that support organizational objectives in the gastroenterology space.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee development and execution of comprehensive medical communication plans, including key tactics such as core content, HCP education, congress activities, digital initiatives, and communication planning.
- Lead the medical review and approval process of both promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring alignment with company strategy and compliance standards.
- Mentor and coordinate with global medical communications colleagues, monitoring project performance and supporting delivery of plans on schedule and within budget.
- Function as a scientific leader, providing expertise to cross-functional partners and contributing to launch and life-cycle management for targeted assets.
Required:
- A relevant healthcare degree; a medical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, RN, MS, etc.) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ biopharmaceutical industry experience—preferably in medical affairs roles—required for those with a doctoral degree; minimum 7 years’ experience required for those with a master’s degree.
- Solid understanding of medical communications materials and practices, with familiarity regarding international regulatory and legal guidelines for medical communications.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, inspire teamwork, and lead complex projects with effective prioritization and decision-making.
