Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite for 6 months before Hybrid Flexibility)
Job Summary:
Join our client's dynamic team as a Senior Java Developer, where you'll play a crucial role in crafting and maintaining sophisticated eCommerce applications. This position involves hands-on development within an Agile Scrum framework, focusing on both front-end and back-end solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug complex web applications and enterprise systems.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.
- Develop and maintain code using Java, JavaScript, JSP, and jQuery.
- Implement web services and integrate with databases using Spring MVC and Hibernate.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams for system stability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in application development.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, JSP, jQuery, and REST/SOAP services.
- Experience with GitHub and Agile development practices.
- Strong skills in system integration and performance tuning.
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite in Columbia, SC, with potential for hybrid work after 6 months.
- Standard business hours, with occasional off-hours or weekend work.
