Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site)
Job Summary: We have an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team supporting a critical backend API development initiative for a major retail banking application. Our team is committed to delivering new services while providing robust long-term support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute backend development tasks, focusing on Java and Oracle SQL technologies.
- Participate in daily standups, provide progress updates, and collaborate on refining development stories.
- Conduct team and peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
- Review third-party API documentation and support ongoing ticket development for production environments.
Required:
- Minimum 8–10 years of backend development experience, including Java, Oracle, Rest APIs, and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to document processes and solutions.
- Open to converting to a full-time employee if a need becomes available during the contract assignment.
