Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Westminster, Maryland (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support research and new product development within a dynamic engineering environment. Our team focuses on advancing innovative solutions for challenging aerospace and aviation applications, delivering reliable field-proven technologies for both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute product design activities in alignment with project cost and schedule constraints.
- Develop conceptual designs into mature product solutions and manage technical risk through data-driven design changes.
- Establish engineering standards and design guides to drive continuous improvement of the engineering domain.
- Collaborate across internal and external teams—including customers, suppliers, engineers, and program management—to develop systems and products.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of system, product design, development, and/or production design problem resolution experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, now or in the future.
- This position requires access to information or hardware subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); all applicants must meet ITAR's definition of “U.S. person.”
